CA. Piran B. Doctor, a seasoned Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, DISA), leads Udyam Impex with an impressive background in technology and education. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a certified network engineer, Mr. Doctor has dedicated his career to bridging technology and education to create impactful, sustainable solutions.
With over three decades of experience, Mr. Doctor has been instrumental in growing the ASCII Group of Companies, of which Udyam Impex is a part, into a dynamic and trusted provider of IT solutions. His expertise in Information Technology, education systems, and e-content development has shaped Udyam Impex’s unique offerings and customer-focused approach.
In addition to his leadership at Udyam Impex, Mr. Doctor has served as a visiting faculty member at prestigious institutions such as the University of Mumbai and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has designed advanced courses in e-content development, and his extensive work with over 300 educational institutions has positioned him as a thought leader in integrating technology into education.
Mr. Doctor also serves on the boards of several educational institutions and is a certified entrepreneurial trainer from BITS Pilani. His commitment to innovation and education extends to his role as a founding advisor of Green Tree Ventures, a venture capital fund led by IIM Bangalore alumni. Mr. Piran B. Doctor

A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Piran Doctor has, in the past, been a Lecturer at H.R. College, Mumbai. He is a qualified Information System Auditor (DISA), certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), certified by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, USA (ISACA). He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a certified network engineer.
He is a visiting faculty member at the University of Mumbai, where he is invited to give lectures to postgraduate teachers on the subject of “Information Technology and Development of E-content.” He is also a visiting faculty member at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for various modules in information technology. Additionally, he has designed and implemented the advanced course for E-Content Development for the Academic Staff College, University of Mumbai, which has been rated among the top five staff training colleges in India.
Mr. Piran Doctor heads the ASCII Group of Companies, from its inception in 1987 to date, nurturing it as it evolved into a reputed and dynamic Information Technology Services group, now comprising four companies. The ASCII Group specializes in providing technology solutions for educational institutions. With rich experience in the education and IT fields, he has been intrinsically involved in successfully achieving the group’s commitment to serving and educating the masses across diverse market segments by promoting and providing single-point Information Technology solutions, systems, and services at affordable prices.
He is a much sought-after speaker in areas of Learning Systems, Education Effectiveness, and the usage of technology in education and has been instrumental in the successful implementation of technology in over 300 institutions. He conducts Learning Assistance Programs and Personal Development Programs for the youth at various levels. He is a certified entrepreneurial trainer from BITS Pilani and a founding advisor of Green Tree Ventures, a venture capital fund floated by IIM Bangalore alumni. Additionally, he serves on the board of several educational institutions.
